BIBLE STUDIES
BIBLE DISCUSSION GROUP
This is a time when we invite anyone who would like to come and share in a discussion of the Bible and encourage one another in our Christian walk. This class is on Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. The only book you will need is your Bible. You do not need to be a Bible scholar or expert. This is an informal discussion time to ask questions and share thoughts, while drawing closer to God in a time of fellowship and discipleship.
This adult Bible study meet each Wednesday evening between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. The study challenges us to grow in our relationship with God through knowledge of his interactions with the human race in history as recorded in the Old Testament and an understanding of how those events and the writings of the prophets point to the coming messiah, Jesus Christ. We also study the New Testament to apply what we have learned from the life and teachings of Jesus to our lives as we strive to serve him and look forward to his imminent return. Our study also allows us an opportunity to share each others insights and wisdom and to grow closer as a church family. It is our hope that knowledge and understanding give us the confidence to share our faith with the world for the glory of Christ
The Women's prayer and devotion group meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 9:00 a.m. This is a short time for women to meet together and pray about the issues God has laid on their hearts followed by a short devotion led by the leader, Marsha Kinsey.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday School is held every Sunday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. There are classes for all ages. Children are divided by age or their grade in school. Adults can choose the class that best fits them. All classes teach the Bible and how it pertains to our lives today.
