CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES

Ready for School

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

Our Children's Church program is offered to kids in Kindergarten thru 6th grade during our 10:10 a.m. morning worship service to give children their own special time together to worship and learn about God in a way that fits their needs. Our focus is to teach the Bible stories and lessons to the younger ages to make sure they understand that the Bible is God's perfect word, that everything in it is true and there for a reason. The older age group moves on to how to apply God's word to their lives. We try to always place the focus on Jesus Christ and how He is the only way to the Father.

GIRLS IN ACTION

Girls in Action (GA's) is a missions discipleship program for girls. Through GA's girls learn about, pray for, give to, and do missions work. We also work to make new friends and have lots of fun! Our GA program meets each 1st, 3rd and 4th Wednesday during the month from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. from August through May. We divide our girls into two age group, girls 1st to 3rd grade and girls 4th to 6th grade. Some of our activities include our annual spaghetti dinner, attending GA Day in Chatham, IL and finding different mission and ministry projects to show and tell others about Jesus' love for them. We also work on learning Bible verses that correspond with what our missionaries do to reach other for Christ. For more details about The GA program you can visit:

ROYAL AMBASSADORS

Royal Ambassadors (RA's) is a mission organization for boys in grade 1-6. We meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays except on the second Wednesday of the month when we have the church Business Meeting. The boys learn about mission work around the world. The RA motto is "We are Ambassadors for Christ." The boys learn how to become young men of God and be more like Christ by studying missions and doing ministry projects. The boys will also plan a number of outdoor activities throughout the year like fishing, hiking, and playing sports.

CHILDREN'S CHOIR

Children love to sing; they learn to praise God through music. The church offers this program to give children in grades 2-6 the chance to express their love for Jesus through music. We meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday evenings during the school year. We sing all types of music and preform a mini-cantata in December and a bigger cantata in the spring with several smaller performances in between. After each big performance the choir leader, Belinda Potts-Miles, puts together an exciting party to celebrate and allow the kids to grow closer together.
